How AloAlo works

Buy data for where you are going, install it before you fly, and land with a working phone. No shops, no queues, no roaming bill.

  1. 01

    Pick your destination

Search for the country or region you are travelling to. You will see the plans that cover it, with the data allowance and how long each one lasts. Nothing is hidden until checkout.

  2. 02

    Pay in the app

Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payment runs through Stripe, so we never see your card details. Your eSIM is prepared the moment the payment clears.

  3. 03

    Install before you fly

Install straight from the app, or scan the QR code. It takes under a minute on Wi-Fi and adds a second line to your phone — your own SIM stays exactly where it is.

  4. 04

Switch it on when you land

Point mobile data at the AloAlo line and turn roaming off on your home line. Your plan activates on its first connection, and the days start counting from there rather than from when you bought it.

What we commit to

Travel data is sold on a lot of promises. These are the ones built into how the service actually runs.

We check before we charge

Your card is authorised, then we order the eSIM, and only then is the payment captured. If the eSIM cannot be delivered, the authorisation is released and you are not charged. It is a deliberately slower flow, and it is the reason we do not take money for something we failed to hand over.

Your number stays yours

An AloAlo eSIM is a second line, not a replacement. Your bank codes, your messages and your contacts keep arriving on your own number while data runs over ours.

The days start when you land

Validity begins at the first connection at your destination, not at purchase. Install a week early if you like — it costs you nothing.

No automatic charges

When your data runs out, the connection stops. Nothing renews on its own and nothing is billed without you choosing it.
