Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Amygdal, L.L.C. ("AloAlo", "we", "us") when you use the AloAlo eSIM app or this website. By creating an account or buying a data plan, you accept them.
1. What AloAlo provides
AloAlo sells prepaid mobile data plans delivered as an eSIM — a SIM profile you install on your device instead of a plastic card. The underlying connectivity is provided by our supplier and its local network partners, not by us.
Plans sold through AloAlo are data only. They do not include phone calls or SMS unless a plan explicitly says otherwise.
2. Your device must be compatible
An eSIM only works on a device that supports eSIM and is not carrier-locked. Checking this is your responsibility before you buy. We publish compatibility information in the app, but we cannot verify the state of your particular device or any lock your carrier has applied.
3. Accounts
You must give accurate details and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.
We may suspend or close an account that is used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these terms.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the app before you pay and include any taxes we are required to charge. Payment is taken at the time of purchase through Stripe; we never see your card number.
Your bank may apply its own currency conversion or foreign transaction fee. That is between you and your bank.
5. Delivery and activation
After a successful payment we issue your eSIM and make its installation details available in the app. Delivery is electronic and usually immediate, but can take longer if our supplier or a local network is delayed.
A plan's validity period starts when the eSIM connects to a network for the first time, unless the plan states otherwise — not when you buy it. Unused data expires at the end of the validity period and does not roll over.
6. Refunds
Because an eSIM is a digital product that is delivered immediately, a plan is not refundable once it has been installed or used.
We will refund you where:
- you were charged more than once for the same order;
- the eSIM was never delivered, or the profile we issued cannot be installed; or
- the plan does not work in its stated coverage area for reasons within our supplier's control, and we cannot fix it.
We do not refund a plan because your device turned out to be incompatible or carrier-locked, because you did not use the data, or because you deleted the eSIM profile from your device. Refund requests go to info@amygdal.com and should include your order reference. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK: by buying a plan and asking for it to be made available immediately, you agree that supply begins at once, and you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once the eSIM has been delivered.
7. Coverage and service quality
Mobile networks are not under our control. Speed, coverage and availability vary by country, network, location and congestion, and some plans are subject to the local operator's fair-use or throttling rules. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and we do not promise any particular speed.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- break any law that applies to you, or to the country you are in;
- send spam, or distribute malware;
- resell the connectivity, or run it through equipment that shares it commercially; or
- interfere with the service, or try to gain unauthorised access to it.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including missed connections, lost bookings, lost profit or lost data — and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the plan the claim relates to.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, and how to delete your account.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the terms in force when you bought a plan are the ones that apply to that purchase.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Amygdal, L.L.C. is registered, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.
